Get Gardening!
April 25, 2014
Living in the South has many perks, probably the biggest being able to spend more time outdoors having warmer weather (usually LOL). And that means you can have more time to work and grow in your garden! But what if you're new to gardening and starting your first one? We did some homework to help get you going. The USDA put together a Plant Hardiness Zone Map, which is the standard that gardeners use to determine which plants will thrive where in the US.
Coastal North Carolina is located in Zone 8.
AND there's a handy veggie chart to go along with Zone 8 for when to plant what!
