Happy Retirement!

As we enter the New Year, all of us at Kent Homes would like to recognize and congratulate Dan Kent on his recent retirement!

Dan and his wife Miriam started the company in 1989. He was an incredible leader that transformed and grew the Kent Homes team for over three decades. Dan succeeded in building a company focused on providing an atmosphere of trust between builder and homeowner. He always measured the success of Kent Homes by the customer experience, not by the number of homes built each year.

Dan was also dedicated to empowering his employees, developing great relationships with Kent Homes’ trade partners, and serving on the Cape Fear Builders Guild Board.

Dan’s mark has been left on hundreds of homes and families in Southeastern North Carolina. His retirement is well earned, and our team is forever grateful for his leadership, dedication, and passion for excellence.

In his retirement, Dan will be spending time with his family and enjoying his passions of traveling with his wife, boating, playing pickleball, and leading a very active lifestyle.

Ashley Kent, second-generation and successor to her father, is honored and excited to lead Kent Homes to new heights.

All of us are forever thankful to have worked alongside one of the best! We wish him health and happiness in the next phase of his journey!
